UB the Band: Interactive Music Show

"U B the Band" is an excellent choice for educational organizations and events because it involves the audience in the excitement of the show itself, while building on a variety of important social, mental, physical, emotional and academic skills.
We learn/emphasize skills like taking turns, sharing the limelight, leading and following, showing our respect and appreciation to others; forming groups and working together for common goals.
Shows reinforce use of large motor and fine motor skills, eye-to-hand coordination, counting, reading, keeping time, and organized activities as part of being good audience members and performers in the show.

We have fun keeping
time, using soft and loud sounds, as well as experimenting with slow, fast, and random versus syncopated movement. For
those children who can read, we utilize projected lyrics, and everyone
gets involved in planning songs, taking turns, sharing the limelight,
being courteous to others, being good audience members and working
together while demonstrating patience and taking turns.
